How to measure for your Jacket
A - Sleeve length
Wearing a jacket you like the fit of (if possible) measure from you shoulder point down to where you would like your sleeve to finish. Make sure to keep a relaxed arm when measuring and do not pull the tape measure taught (this will lead to an inaccurate measurement). This is your sleeve measurement.
B - Chest measurement
Remove your jacket. Wrap your tape measure around the largest point of your chest making sure to keep a relaxed posture and keeping the tape level at the front and back of the body. This is your chest measurement.
C - Jacket Waist measurement
Remove your jacket. Wrap your tape measure around the largest part of your waist (generally this is just below your belly button) making sure to keep a relaxed posture and keeping the tape level at the front and back of your body. This is your waist measurement.
D - Seat/hip measurement.
Remove your jacket. Wrap the tape measure around the largest part of your seat (buttocks) making sure you do not have any keys, phones, wallets in your pockets and are keeping the tape level at the front and back of the body. This is your seat measurement.
E - Jacket back length measurement.
Wearing a jacket (if possible), place the tape measure at the nape of the neck, just below where the collar would start. Holding it in place, let the tape measure hang from this point and with your other hand gently push the hanging tape into the curve of the lower back. Look to see where you would like the jacket to finish and take note of the measurement. This is your back length measurement.
F - Shoulder measurement.
Wearing a jacket (if possible) place the tape measure on the shoulders, starting at one shoulder point, straight across to the other. If measuring without a jacket as reference, you should be measuring from the point just before the bone of your shoulder starts to curve. This is your shoulder measurement.
